Dress - Asos // Cardigan - Dorothy Perkins // Sandals - Bronx, Schuh
Today i went round to see my Mum, sister and the dogs as i had a day off :) I didn't plan on taking any photos, but my sister encouraged me into it :P Not a fancy outfit really, when i looked at my wardrobe this morning, i just wanted something comfortable and to match my new sandals! :) My sandals arrived this morning and i was so pleased when i opened the box! I thought i'd wear them in a bit as i'm planning to wear them at work etc. so i didn't want them to hurt the first time i wore them, and fortunately they didn't. :)

ReplyDeleteI think thats entirely up to me. To be perfectly honest i do not care if people don't agree. But i'm comfortable in my own skin and if i wish to wear shorter dresses without leggings i will continue to do so.

ReplyDeleteLimonka didn't tell you what you can or cannot do, she just quite politely expressed that she (probably) thinks its not exactly aesthetic. I don't write it because i have a problem with how do you look like, because I don't, really, I just noticed that on fatshion blogs it is inappropriate to criticize, and when someone does - a hundred people become defensive, while on other blogs it is natural to say what you think. So - if you accept yourselves why does that happen? I mean, it's the internet - when you put something in there you must be prepared for being criticized. I like your and your sister's cute style, but you can't pretend that a problem doesn't exist.

ReplyDeleteI don't particularly think i was really defensive? I just stated that besides her view i will continue to wear short dresses, it has no affect on me whatsoever. As i am comfortable with my weight, if i wasn't, i wouldn't have this blog?
I'm not pretending that a problem doesn't exist, i don't believe that my reply to Limonka was at all rude, it was just my exact opinion. So i don't see how your comment was worth posting?
well, my post was directed to people who comment more than to blog author and I never said that anyone was rude here ;) I was only decribing some kind of social phenomenon but you're right that it wasn't the best place for me to do that.

ReplyDeletegnidk4, the thing is, Limonka isn't polite so I probably saw things differently to you. Her blog has entries bad-mouthing other plus-size bloggers and I've seen mean comments left by her on other sites- they start off seemingly innocent but get more and more unpleasant. So, if you think I overreacted it's because I'm fed up of Limonka and her bullying.
