Whilst I was in Wales I wanted to remix some of my existing clothes. It's always useful to have pieces that can mix and match to create different looks. I wore (what I call) my 'Miffy' skirt & my mint crochet peter pan collared blouse. I added a cream angora cardigan to match the soft colours and create a pastel palette. I added a few accent jewelry pieces to tie the outfit together. Because the weather In North Wales was reasonably cold, I wore my leggings - not the best match - however because I would of froze having not worn them, they were a necessity! haha. :) Hope you all had a lovely time whilst I was away, and I do apologise for forgetting to publish my posts whilst I was on holiday (I'm just a tad dopey :P )

Wales Part I

As most of you know I went on holiday to North Wales on the 16th of April for 11 days. Myself & my best friend Shane got the train to Pwllheli and joined my Mum, her boyfriend Phil & Georgina (Who i'm sure you know!). It was lovely to get away. We stayed at my Grandparents cottage (pictured below) which is in the middle of nowhere virtually. It was weird not having the internet! haha, but a nice break none the less. We visited a few childhood haunts. Overall it was a lovely holiday and glad I could share it with my family & friend :) Below are just a few pictures from it, hope you enjoy!

 As you may have noticed, my blog header includes some of these photos. I have been meaning to do a post with this dress since last November! Haha. I just hadn't found the occasion to wear it - It's a bit ott for down the pub! :P So I thought I would create an outfit with it anyway :) I loooooveeee the puffiness of this dress! It makes me feel so girly. The simplicity of the design is classic and easily dressed with accessories. I coordinated it with metallic pink jewellery & a belt. What do you guys think of tutu designs? Do you think they're over the top (even for nights out) or do you love their uniqueness? :)

Last Tuesday my amazing new flatforms from Missguided arrived. I know I say this a lot, but I am IN love with them! The colour is beautiful, the fabric is soft & the height is just perfect. I decided to wear my floral dress from ASOS Curve, that I purchased last year in one of their great sales :) I love the length & the shift style. I picked out the lilac flowers with my lilac angora cardigan from South. I now have this cardigan in three different colours, aha. It's just so cute and cheap! This is a very summery/spring outfit with all the flowers and candy colours. I can't wait to wear it more often! :) What are you most looking forward to wearing in Summer?

Manchester Fashion Week

On Tuesday the 10th of April, myself & one of my best friends, Brittany of Vesuvial Desire travelled to Manchester Fashion Week. Brittany won the tickets on a Facebook competition from Missguided. We both found out last Thursday & were excited to say the least! I thought it would be a great experience (being a fashion blogger) to personally watch some catwalks & go through some rails and see some up & coming designs. The rails that were on show were from Missguided & a designer dress rental company, neither catered for plus size girls - which is a shame, as some of their designs were beautifully detailed & on trend. Plus size fashion is a reasonably small category yet a huge audience in comparison to the main ranges of fashion. Seeing as it shouldn't matter what size people are, bigger girls should be able to dress fashionably. Maybe one day every high street store will cater for us bigger ladies! *dreams & sighs* Nevertheless I thought I would share a few of my favourite designs from the days catwalk shows & from the day. 

I was in love with the pretty pastel pieces. I'm sure many of you know already my fondness of this colour palette. They are just so sweet & girly. The styling of the cardigan, shorts & stripey tee is so cute! I really want a similar cardigan :) This has to be my favourite trend of Summer!

Cute Scalloped Edge Hot pants & Masculine Studs. The scalloped edge of the shorts is so cute, I wish details like these were available in the plus size ranges! :(

Animal prints are totally in! I'm loving the vertical stripe trend at the moment too.

Grunge tartan prints & contrasting designs caught my eye.

Beautiful details - We need more of this in Plus Size Fashion!

Today I wore my silk dress from Hm. I bought this last year and adore it. The fabric is beautiful and the ombre design of the flowers is unique and beautiful. I wore my jade angora cardigan which highlights the same flecks of colour in the dress. I added some black accents to match, my well know velvet heart bag! :P & a peterpan collar necklace with black beads which I recently swapped with my sister. :) I love this outfit, it's girly, summery & a stands out. Did anyone else buy from the Hm Inclusive range? What are your thoughts?

Today, I decided to wear my jersey spot dress from South. You may of seen it before, I wore it a month or so ago & I felt it would be nice to wear it today and dress it with a Spring/Summer vibe to it. The cream, light brown & hints of pastels blend nicely together. Still not sure on my hair! aha, It looks really copper in the sun, so thinking of dying it a slightly darker brown to cover that up. The bag is vintage, my mum found it in her wardrobe a few weeks ago. It's from the 1980's and I think its cute for the upcoming season. My nails don't really match, I do apologise, but I hadn't decided on what outfit I was going to wear until this morning. (I normally plan it in my head the day before :P ) Hope you are enjoying your easter weekend! Don't forget my giveaway! :)
